Birdlovers will spot the majestic albatross, frigate birds, shearwaters, boobies and the native nene geese, or see the occasional owl nesting in the valley next to the property and even hear the call of a pheasant. In the wintertime you will be able to watch humpback whales right from the lanai, and on calm days dolphins love to come and play in Kalihiwai Bay… often alongside playful humans.
